Scrunching her face up in thought, Adrienne thought of which one would be her favorite. Her face broke out in a smile, and she said, "How about the cheesy one: Beauty School Dropout?" Although she loved the funky outfits and teased hair of the 80s, the songs in the musical made Adrienne laugh. That's what made her like it though. It was a perfect story of boy meets girl. I wish I could have that, Adrienne thought to herself. She grinned as Regina started to play the song.

Regina laughed and swept her hair behind her ear, thinking of the song in her head. She hit a few keys for the beginning note and then found it. Her fingers glided across the piano as they started to sing

Harmonizing perfectly again, Adrienne's alto voice and Regina's soprano, the music blended together flawlessly. Smiling while she sang, Adrienne never felt happier than when she was with her best friend. As the song ended, Adrienne thought of the future, and how Regina was to be leaving Hogwarts after this year. She looked over at her best friend and asked, "So have you decided yet what you're going to do after you leave?" Adrienne had never really thought about her future career... but decided that she had better start. Maybe I'll work for the Ministry, she thought, I could be an Auror!

Regina finished the song and looked to Adrienne, "The sad thing is, I have no clue! It's bad yes, but I haven't really thought about it much. I've just been living day by day you know?" She answered her question, "What about you? Even though you have some time"

"Yeah, I know I've got time... but whenever my parents get a chance to talk to me they always bring it up. It's almost like they're scared I'll pick the wrong path," Adrienne said thoughtfully, like my dad did. She knew that whatever they ended up doing, be it together or apart, they would both be great, and remain friends forever. "So I guess it's a little hard to not think about it", she reiterated. "Maybe we'll both work for the Ministry!", Adrienne laughed, even though it wasn't that bad of an idea. She reached up to play with a lock of her long, dark hair, twisting it in loops around her fingers. She didn't know why she was so antsy today, and why these things were bothering her. Adrienne knew that Gina would understand.

Gina nodded with an expressionless face upon her and then heard the ministry, "Ha! You know I would never be able to get into that! Im horrible at Politics and whatever," She laughed, "But yea, I get how its not easy forgetting about it. They probably just want you to be as good as yo can be..."

"Or as good as they never were," Adrienne said with a chuckle. It was widely known what had happened with her family in the past, but it didn't concern Adrienne too much. What mattered to her was her friends and her future, no matter how dim it may be. "I wish I had my dog here," she said in a low voice. Her puppy was at home with her parents, since she couldn't bring it to Hogwarts. It was times like this that she missed him the most.

Regina didnt say anything at this time, she glanced at Adrienne and then down to the piano keys. She hit random keys slowly.

Sliding off of the piano bench and onto the floor, Adrienne stretched out her long body and sighed loudly. She turned her face toward her friend and said, "How do you think Scorpius is doing? Is he fitting in?" Adrienne cared deeply for her younger brother and tried to do everything that she could for him.

Regina looked straight ahead of her with no expression and then to her friend on the floor. She laughed, "I think he's fine. I haven't seen him around, but he's probably doing okay, dont worry,"

"Alright," Adrienne exhaled. Her thoughts becoming brighter, she asked Gina, "Are you going home for the holidays? I thought about staying here this year, but I think my parents are having a party." The Malfoy holiday parties were always sumptuous and lavish, but more often than not... boring. "You should come with me!" Adrienne exclaimed, "Then it wouldn't be so drab."
